1957: Soviet naval ships attacked the U.S. Eastern Seaboard. An insurgent group of Americans took to the streets; known as "The Last of The Americans," haggard advocates of the American way. They ought for "freedom" against The New York Soviet regime until they eventually fought each other.
Protesting the abolishment of the U.S. Dollar in exchange for the new Russian currency, the Americans turned to piracy and theft. A cut-throat trade-route developed around New York Harbor, Dealing in the barter-trade of Marlboros, Snack-crackers and Jim Beam. The barter-trade war ended when a nuclear detenation sent from USSR, obliterated the island of Manhattan. The sketch by Pseudo-historian, V. Gringo shown below, is the symbol used by American Insurgents during the last years of the cold war, Oct. 1957-Dec. 1959.
